Please identify the cable in this picture, SATA?

I'm putting together a new rig, and this is my first time using serial ATA.  The OEM hard drive I'm getting doesn't come with any cables, and I wanted to double check if I need to buy anything.
This is what my motherboard is shipping with:


What is the cable 3rd from the right, is that splitting a regular power cable into two SATA plugs?
Is the yellow cable at the bottom a SATA data cable?

YES: the first one you asked about looks like a serial ata dual power adapter and the second one definitely looks like a serial ata cable

i think you've got it right already.  it looks like a SATA cable and power adapter to me
