Good place to buy full package computer systems?

I have a friend looking to buy a complete system. Since I've always pieced my computers together from individual parts I'm at a loss to recommend where a good place to check out might be to buy an entire system at once. Any recommendations?

Her wants are a flat screen monitor larger than 17" and for it to include a printer and top be under a grand. She's a casual gamer so doesn't really need anything harcore as far as video/RAM/CPU goes.

if you go Dell, be sure to check www.gotapex.com now and then - they seem to be able to pick out the good deals (well, they look like good deals to me - especially if your other alternative is going to the Dell website directly). Not all the machines are good for gaming but if you check them now and then you'll eventually find a decent system (and in case you've never been there, that page directs you to Dell's website, and they carefully tell you what links to click at Dell to get the good deal - gotapex is not selling stuff, it's from Dell - though maybe they get a cut for directing you there?).

I concur with the other guys that Dell is the way to go.  In addition to Charlatan's suggestion you should also check out www.techbargains.com and www.bensbargains.net.  Both have lists of Dell specials and often have direct links to systems.  I saved about $300 on my laptop by using a link provided by techbargains (it was a special deal that couldn't be gotten to on the normal site).

I would recommend getting a longer warranty if you plan on keeping the PC for a long time.
