Okay I need to get an external hard drive for my PS 3 .. I am collecting alot of games,movies etc.. Space is running out..  Anybody have some insight for me. I am looking at 500 to 1 tb. Price is not realy a factor. Someone have some advice fo[/size]r me...[/color]

I didn't even know they made external hard drives for the PS3. I know you can add just about any internal laptop Hard Drive to it, but you have to replace the existing drive. I guess theoretically you could add an external USB hard to it, but I don't know how that would work. My guess would be that it would act just like a USB memory stick, only a lot larger.

If you add an internal drive, just get the largest one you can afford.

Thanks for that other info. I was wanting to add either a Seagate or Western Digital 1tb hard drive. I was just asking if anyone has done this, because I know you have to change tit to the Fat32 . I know about the internal harddrives from laptops.  That info you gave me explains alot, just thring to get all the info or info from a person that has done this .
