The wife was gonna buy me some ram from Newegg today but we had to go to town first. I brought up the ram on screen ebfore I left and it was $65. I come home and hit add to cart and it errors...so i reload the ram page and now its $71. I think well Ill still get it at that price...then I noticed shipping is $5 but a little ram stick. Fine i say..last straw ill still get it.
I add to cart..get ready to pay and notice my phone number is wrong so i go and change it..but it wont let me out of the screen unless I choose Tennessee tax...WTF Im thinking..I choose it and my state's tax rate is just about 10%....so now my ram that was $65 has risen to a total os $85+ ...I said fuck it and closed the browser. POS.

I have no idea,....they never have before..All i cant figure is they have some type of storehouse or distribution center here now.

Especially 10% .. jesus man are you serious? that's insane. Here in central florida we pay 6% for general merchandise, and 0% on food. I'd leave a state that charged 10% |

It doesn't matter if it shipped from alaska, they have a nexus in your state therefore they legally have to charge you tax.
