I'm just wondering if anyone here successfully plays MKV files, especially anime or other subtitled movies, on their android tablets. I'm considering a Transformer Prime for Christmas, but I want it mainly as an anime and movie viewer in which I don't need to constantly re-encode the MKV files in Handbrake.

Someone else also recommended DICE PLAYER  and MOBOPLAYER for android. Anyone have an idea which of these three is better?

I couldn't get MOBO player to work.

I use a combination of MXVideo Player and VPlayer.
