No details, but it was just announced that Fantasy Flight Games (who have been making some of the best US made board games lately) is going to be releasing a World of Warcraft boardgame in late summer 2005:

More details...

Hey cool, more board gamers!  I really like FF, they put out a lot of good games.  Their line up for the next year looks great.  I suspect the WoW game will be similar to the Hero type of games like Runebound, where you play a character and go through quests and fight monsters.  A bit like RPG lite.

Of course, this is all just speculation, but how else could they do a game like WoW?

It features an innovative feature, new to board gaming: you have to roll a 20-sided die and get a 16 or higher before you can start playing.

The queue just ruins that boardgame for me. Having to roll a perfect 20 to get around the queue and begin playing...then of course theresthe updates on each Teusday they make the game unplayable till Wednesday biggrin
