I saw the thread on Qt3, the living card game idea is definitely interesting.

Post some impressions when you get it.

I like the Call of Cthulhu LCG format, and the tutorial videos have me interested.

Arrived the other day, and last night, my wife and I were able to get a couple games in. I really liked it. She liked the game, also (which is always a plus...means she will play again).

The art on the cards are incredible. The game play is smooth. The rules are simple, but with cards that can break the rules. She won the game as the Orcs (vs. me as the Dwarfs), but I won the game as Chaos (vs. her as Empire). Both games were pretty close. The game she won she had 1 section of her capital burning, and almost the 2nd section gone, too, when she took out my 2nd section. The game I won as Chaos, I managed to eliminate 2 sections as she eliminated 1 of mine. That game would have been much closer, but she kept going after my Kingdom section, and I was able to hold the damage off by card-play and units.

There is a lot to this game, just out of the core set. Looking forward to seeing what else comes down the line. I do know that Malus Darkblade will be in one of the expansions coming out in the next couple of months (just finished up reading the books about him). There is also card art in the core set of Felix & Gotrek (I believe it is the Dwarf quest card...has Gotrek on it, with Felix in the background).

Hopefully, they won't take too long to get the companion set out which adds the High Elves and the Dark Elves in full.

At any rate, the game is great. Now, looking forward to getting Chaos in the Old World out of the box and playing that....

It's neither, it's a card game that has you attacking the zones of your opponent's city.

I just saw this a week or 2 ago, and I've been considering it for my son for Christmas. I was originally thinking of getting him Blue Moon Legends, as I've played it and therefore familiar with it. One of the attractions of Blue Moon is that I think it might appeal to my daughter too. Then I noticed that MythicalMino's wife seem to enjoy it. For anyone who's played both, is this anything like the Blue Moon CG? Another question I have, is it too difficult for a 10 year old?
