Still need to paint the sword and either ink or highlight the metals, but they're virtually done. This month I'll be building an armored company of a fashion before I return to my next squad of Ravenwing and the Master of the Chapter.

I have... at last math check, I think 5k+ in Eldar laying around, almost none of it heavy weapons.

I did all my buying when it was lead and instead of 5 figures costing 40 bucks, for 30 you could get 15ish.

Prices are just too silly for me to play seriously.

Re: pricing - I'm not fond of GW's pricing at all. However, I do get discounts when/where I can and I do "fight the man" with the occasional scratch-build. The beginnings of my armorked krumpany, for instance...

The only thing that truly kills me is the fact I need to paint them, and well any old paint job gets me teased by my friends.  I have to paint them well.   

Which means I spend more time painting than I ever will playing.  And I'm godawful at it.  Still as far as hobbies go, the amount of time I'd spend doing it is a lot and it's something that when your finally done you can show off to others.  At least you chose a cool army...

Wow!  Nicely done.  I can't even guess how you managed that or what material you used to construct those tanks.  And excellent painting also.  Feel free to post a tutorial for us lesser painters any time! 

My son and I are working on a WHFB Orc & Goblin army and a Dwarf army also.  Recently, I got him a Giant for his birthday.  After spending an evening assembling it (he is very meticulous in choosing the pose and parts) I took one look at it and told him he gets the honors of painting that one.
