My best friend lives in Boston, so I'm hoping I can maybe use the event as an excuse to visit him for a bit. He's not a big gamer, though his sister did get him an XBox360 for Xmas last year. It's not really clear yet how many exhibitors there'll be (I don't know if the California companies will want to travel that far), though I'm pretty confident at least Turbine will be there.

Yeah, I am curious about that too, but there are a nice bunch of Boston-based shops like Harmonix and 2K Boston.

Harmonix will definitely be there. By that I mean I suspect that almost the entire company will be going in at least an unofficial capacity (in addition to whatever official stuff we do). The offices will be a ghost town during the show. I know I'll definitely be at PAX.

Just a reminder, this is the last day to get early bird pricing ($45 for all 3 days). I ordered my ticket and I know Wonderpug is going as well.

Got my pass in the mail yesterday.
And according to the paperwork, there will be a "Harmonix Lounge" where I am sure Chaz will be getting his chill on.

Yeah, I know this is 6 months old, but Disarm, you might also look into the Ctrl-Alt-Del convention Digital Overload in Providence as well. You just missed this year's (last weekend), but there's always next year.

We'll see. I do normally get paid to do that. I guess it depends on whether or not they let me drink free while I'm there.
