you know when you think you've seen it all, and then you find something else that just smacks your psyche on the backside and calls it Charlie? well, this is one of those times. I'll let you guys read about it before getting into more detail, but I've been laughing my ass off as I watch the video and clicking 'tell me more'.

Well, it's ridiculous. However, it may be a 100% pefect thing to do with my daughter for her birthday.
The closest one seems to be an hour and a half away, though, so I'm wondering if it's worth the schlep. Anyone been to East Hanover, NJ?

Wow, shit like this is going mainstream! Does this mean that me and my fellow RPG'ers can stop wearing shades, can turn our collars back down and can now stop entering and exiting are local game store through the alley door?

Does this mean we can get some pics of LARPers with black glasses photoshopped on their faces with some tag line about, "I played wizards before they went mainstream?"

If I recall correctly, there was a Penny Arcade comic and news post about this within the last couple weeks.

We did this with the kids when we were at Wisconsin Dells a couple of years ago. It was okay but I wouldn't drive an hour and a half to do it. It was located in the main tourist trap area so it wasn't out of the way for us. It was a good way to kill some time and it was air conditioned.

We got coupons to go to the one in East Hanover and will be going in two weeks. For a 5 year old it's probably really cool. Just a FYI East Hanover is like the Las Vegas of retail. There's like a billion stores crammed onto 10 so the traffic sucks ass on the weekends... Well any day when I really think about it. I tend to avoid the area most of the time.

I'm hoping we stumble on one of these some time, but, yeah, I don't know that we'll be making a long trip.
