While I didn't get to go to GenCon Indy this year, my friend did.  He snagged me a copy of the Serenity RPG and shipped it to me earlier this morning from the convention center.

Oh, and it's signed by Ron Glass.

As a dedicated role player, I'm really looking forward to the game.  Although my group is already deep into a campaign of Necessary Evil, I may have to resurrect my defunct online game (really sorry about Deadlands guys) to play Serenity.

You're the turtle, yet I'm a lovely shade of green at the moment.

I tried to get a copy Saturday afternoon, but they were sold out. It didn't even occur to me Ron Glass was right  there across the room to sign copies.
Double darn.

I think they were selling all or mostly softcover copies at the show. I was told
a hardcover version is soon going to be able for order online, with no charge for shipping. I forgot the website he mentioned, but I imagine its one of the Margeret Weis related websites.

Just a small update.  I'm running a play by post game over at the RPG.net forums.  You'll have to register in the forums to see them, but it should be an interesting read once the entire crew gets together.

Unlike my last botched Deadlands game, this was a lot easier to put together, albiet a little more difficult to run.

Still, if it succeeds I can try starting one here.

I'm jealous. Let us know how it works once you have a few sessions. smile
