Kickstarter is ruining my personal economy.

Also, some guys have made a zombie survival board game called Zpocalypse and put it up on Kickstarter. It looks awesome and is receiving good press it seems. The stretch goals for the project have resulted in cheap access to two expansions from the very beginning. There are two more very tempting stretch goals (unique hero miniatures at 135k and more unique zombie miniatures at 150k) that would be nice to get, so if any of you have any interest in this game, please contribute. smile You've only got 4 days left (at the time of writing) before the Kickstarter ends!

There are some very descriptive videos on Kickstarter showing how the game works. I recommend giving it a look. This game might just replace Arkham Horror as my group's go-to game.

I saw something on boardgamegeek recently about this. From what I could gather from the brief info I read, it seemed a bit like a Last Night on Earth on steroids. IIRC there's a play mechanic for fortifying locations and it was more squad based for the humans in comparison to other bg zombie games. All I can say about their plan for miniatures, is I hope they manage to make them more affordable than Arkam Horror miniatures.  icon_eek I can't afford more kickstarters right now, but if I had the budget I'd probably opt in on this because I think its going to be a decent game.

All miniatures are included in the game. They aren't buyable separately.

Oh OK, cool. I was under the impression than when they published it'd still be token based with separate minis available, and that those who participated in the Kickstarter would get them for free. I think it`s a better idea if they do include them in the base game, as it`ll make them far more competitive with other zombie themed boardgames.

Less than a day to go if you want to chip in, people! You can get the game and the K-Mini expansion for $55 with free shipping in this Kickstarter campaign, whereas the game alone will retail for $100 when this is over. Or you can go $75 and get the first full-blown expansion as well, which lets a fifth player control the zombies. I've read the rules and seen the components, and this game looks great in my opinion.

The campaign blew past its stretch-goals, so they added two last minute ones, one of which has already been passed. There's now a soundtrack and more cards included in the game, and if the last goal is reached everyone will receive a custom dice bag as well. smile
