I opened an account on Gamespot for no real reason other than to just do it.

What are the rankings?  It says I'm a journeyman with 23%.  Huh?

Can't find a help page to explain it.

Oh and if they think I'm upgrading to pay for the site fuggedit.

I think if you hang out in the forum and pander to the local asshattery you'll 'rank up' and move up in percent.   I'm still bitter about being banned.

I posted a review on our site and somebody on Gamespot had a question on it.  I went in and answered it.  BAM! Insta-ban for 'advertising' my own site.  You want to talk about shit moderation?  Pretty fine example.

I've noticed my ranking keeps going up and all I do is download video.  I did pay so I could get the better resolution vids, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.  I'm up to level 9 (31%) now.

the ranks are tied to anything you do on the site. browsing, posting, reading, downloading, watching videos. anything contributes to it.
