Found this when looking for a simple based fantasy card game for my PC.  It's a little old school and it's not a dungeon crawler but I thought I'd send a shout out because I figured some D&D players might like this as an off and on time killer.

The game is called Counteract and the version I stumbled into can be found on this YouTube channel.

At first I thought it was really complex. But it turns out to be a simple game of domination with game cards and a basic attribute system for each character.  It also, has a lot of little games in as well called trials.  The documentation explains a lot and the in game tutorial is fully detailed(might be a little to much for some).  But in the end it worked for me.  The thing that got me was the battle system POV. But I adjusted real quick to it and I am now on campaign 10. The game board plays like a classic arcade game where you have to interact with objects on the game board as well.  If you ever played the HTML based game card game called ELEMENTAL on the web or played Archon. You might like this.

BTW, its for Windows XP,7 for sure and FREE(no gimmicks attached). I don't know about windows 8. I don't have 8.

1st of all....I asked this forum moderator if it was ok.  And patiently was sent a "yes" because of the content and genre of the subject matter(Though not analogous it does fit into the realm of fantasy). So, please don't get crazy with the post BAN or sarcasms paranoid.  It's only a conversation of what I've been experiencing in other circles that I wanted to share with people who might like these types of games.  Since this is GAMING TREND.

I found it interesting and posted my thoughts in the section that closely related to the topic of discussion on this site. NUFF said. Roll Eyes

BTW, I can't believe the first responses are RUDE and close minded people who curiously like playing D&D games. eek  icon_confused

>>>I don't complain about the little adverts on selling D&D pieces or going to this store or that store. You know! things that vaguely have anything to do with playing analog board games(Which were on paper a time a go and required none of it except die's and imagination).

Here's also some good advice.  Re-read the forum rules about politeness and "we're all a  GOOD community here".
That's written on the wall. I did when I signed up.  SO GROW UP.

@Farley2K: Thank you for your professionalism of handling this situation prior to the post.  But these people are ridiculous.  I can't believe the user count this site has.  Since, everything is an attack..  SHHSH. 'tarded!

And now, a forum haiku:

So sorry you think we're rude.
Welcome to GT.
Stay awhile and listen.

Recently joined, and first post is heavily recommending a very obscure game.  High chance this adds up to you being a spam bot.

But since you're an actual human being (or at least a new model very convincing bot), everything changes.  Welcome! And sorry for the Turing test!
