Betrayal at House on the Hill anyone?

Hey CGers:

I enjoy basic boardgames but I was messing around one afternoon and walked into one of those serious gaming stores and saw this on the shelf. It looked like alot of fun but I didn't pick it up because honestly, I don't know any people that would sit through a game like that with me.

I would have asked the guy who ran the store if he knew people but to be honest, the hardcore boardgamer types really scare me.  

I was just wondering if there were any CGers in the Washington DC Metro area that would like to get together one evening and play this game with me. (3 to 6 players)

If I get some interest, I will order the game online (I went back already and it was gone) and then we can meet up at a place, eat some pizza and have some fun.

I liked this one as well.  There are definitely some rules problems, and the components could be better, but if you're looking for a light game heavy on the atmosphere, this one works great.  I'm definitely pulling it out at the halloween party.

This page over at boardgamegeek has all the files you'll need.  It's got the full FAQs (which you really need to clear up rules problems as they show up), as well as a great spreadsheet for a method of dividing the counters.  One clunky bit about the game is that there are about 52.587 nearly identical counters, and you need different sets for each of the 50 different scenarios.  The file "CounterStorage" gives you a list of about 15 envelopes, tells you which counters go in which one, and which envelope to use for which scenario.  Takes a while to set up, but makes things ever so much easier when you're playing.
