There's definitely some that get a big WTF from me, but there's more that I just wasn't even aware of.  icon_confused  I'm very happy to see Catalyst Game Labs walk away with 2 awards - especially for getting 1 for a BattleTech expansion. I'm cool with Paradigm getting the big kahuna of RPG awards -always liked their Witch Hunter stuff amongst others- but I was actually pulling for The One Ring. Despite my really liking and GM'ing the Dragon Age PnP sytem, IMO Set 2 getting nominated for best RP Supplement or Adventure is a joke. For crying out loud it's the 2nd set/stage of the core rules with the 3rd still yet to come! How's it a supplement or adventure? Me thinks the nominators and voters need a littler reeducating.  Tongue  I'm also wondering how the hell Gears of War The Board Bame didn't even get a nomination for best new boardgame.  icon_eek

The Origin game awards have a pretty awful reputation from everything I've read.  It's not exactly a name that means quality in the industry.

They're kind of a laughing stock on BGG.

Yup, I don't think I've ever heard anything positive said about them on the Geek.
