Would you find that useful?  You would be able to add pictures to your OWN gallery, linked from your forum username.  E.G. http://smf-media.com/community/index.php?action=profile;u=71 (he has no pictures, but you can see the idea)

I would ... my only concern would be space issues (as our admins occasionally have had to clear out attachments).

That is simply due to the limitations I set.  I could expand that - we have a lil room to stretch our legs if folks want it.

So in theory we could upload images to that gallery instead of to say imageshack, thus erasing the hassle of getting their link to paste it into a post?

So the process would be: upload to gt gallery. Use that link. Put image tags around it and voila?

If so, 100 times, yes I would use it.

I reckon so.

I'm not seeing how that's different from Photobucket.  upload, copy link, paste.  they even put in the img tags for you to copy.  I think it'd be cool for people who didn't want the hassle of setting up a PB/Imageshack account though.

FYI you don't need an account to upload things to Imageshack.  Hell if I know how they keep themselves in business.

I already use the attachments to upload my pictures, so I probably wouldn't go through the extra step of uploading to the gallery and then linking.

I'd certainly use it.  While Imageshack works and doesn't require any sort of membership, load times are irritating and they seem to have started some pop-up garbage.  I'm all for one-stop shopping.  Hell, I'm all for shopping in general.  Fabulous

For that reason, I'd like to see it in use.  Not sure I'd use it myself though, since I host my own images.
