I just want to know why. I was the first one to actually post the trailer last night. Next, two derivative threads that offered no productive commentary were just locked and not outright deleted--mine was!
Not cool. The 'official' Iron Man 2 thread wasn't even on page 1. Are we now to supposed to fish out old sunken threads whenever we want to post news? That trailer deserved it's own thread!

Do you honestly need something to be on Page 1 for you to be able to find it? There was an ongoing Iron Man thread which wasn't too difficult to find, so it seemed to make sense to merge your thread with the existing one. The others were just nonsense. I don't believe your thread was deleted, just merely moved into the appropriate thread.
Why should we have multiple threads for the same movie?

I only found out after chatting with naednek about some of the repetition nonsense. It was done to keep everything together, but then the mocking threads started and that never ends well. If merging threads sounds cutting-edge, wait until you see THIS!   |

The only theory I've been able to come up to explain its existence is black magic. Because there is no way technology has come this far already. I'm pretty sure Ron is a warlock. It wasn't deleted. You were sent a message stating your thread was merged to the existing thread. I don't think you were purposely trying to post duplicate threads like the other two, which is why I merged it.
Please before posting, check to see if there's a thread already for it. It will help with making duplicated posts and help from making things cluttered
