What makes the "!" button for reporting a post disappear? Does it go away after one person reports? I wanted to report laxy's posts but couldn't, was the "!" gone because he was already banned?

I think once one person reports a post the option is disabled from that point on until a moderator removes the report. Otherwise we'd get a half-dozen emails about the same posts. |

Can we ban these by IP? or require confirmation of the account (eg. email check or moderator approval) before they can post?
I had the same crap on another board I ran...and it was coming out of about 5 russian IP addresses. Banned those, and haven't had any problems.

I had the same crap on another board I ran...and it was coming out of about 5 russian IP addresses. Banned those, and haven't had any problems. Yea, I routinely block the email address, IP, and name of the individual. |
