What happens if your inbox or sent box is full?  I've been trying to get in touch with someone about a trade in progress, and I'm not hearing from them.  I'd like to think it's not because they've decided to drop the ball, so I'm looking for other explanations.

You should get a mailbox full notification.   The pain in the ass is that it uses a pop-up to notify the recipient that they have new messages so unless they allow pop-ups from us they won't see the notification.  You'd have to rely on their powers of observation to see the "1 message waiting" notice.
