What constitutes a personal attack?

so I had a post edited in the BJ thread because I said a certain poster could give me one but we would have to get married first.  This was edited out because I was told it was a personal attack?  That seems a bit much.  I would like some clarification on how that was a personal attack.  I think if that kind of thing is going to be edited out than the Mods are goign to be extremely busy from now on.

How about modifying someone's name to include vulgarity in the context of said line?

I think it probably depends on the prudishness of the mod and forum member.

As I said in my response I misread what you wrote after you made the correction to his name, and I corrected it.  Not your exact wording, because I can't remember the exact way you had it. 

What you had before, altering his name with cuss-words, that most certainly constituted an personal attack.  What you changed it to before I edited it out is more of a joke/ribbing, a little mean, but not a personal attack.

In the future, you might want to give me a chance to respond to you, before taking out your pitchfork...

Yea, sorry Naednek I should have been more patient. My first reprimand so I over reacted.  I have been onry lately which is unusual so  I don't deal with it well   You should see the scathing letter my neighbor just got about his dog poop!  Agreed on the intial post being a bit much and my apologies to mister Sensual Lettuce.  Though It wasn't that far a stretch from sensual to sexual to vulgarity   I kid!
