Tapatalk will display the Latest posts for new posts in a thread, but, when selected, will position the thread to the post immediately prior to the newest post.  This means that I'm constantly being taken to the last post previously read rather than the first new one.

I can almost guarantee it'll be fixed if you reinstall the client.  I'm seeing people on the Tapatalk support forum complain of the same thing.   I don't think this one is on our side.
