that lists all of the platforms?

It really sucks to see this [PS3,360,PS4,XB1,PC] as the most recently commented on thread and then have no idea what it is.

If we have to stick with it, can we move it after the game title?

After would work, but if you drop the info altogether you'd have people asking what platform it's for.  Maybe if it's not fully cross compatible, like in the CoD thread, it works ok as you already know that it will be targeted at all platforms.  But for the two AssCreed games, it makes more sense to specify which platforms it's coming out for.

tbh, it doesn't bug me as the thread titles rarely extend past the screen on mobile.

I like the tags. I find them helpful to see what platform the game is for without having to click on it. As a PC only gamer, I use tags to quickly scan what applies to me. Maybe I should just find a more PC dominant site?

How about only put them if it's not cross platform?

the issue is more the tags being on the front than being there at all.  As ATB mentioned, many times when looking at the forum you have no idea what game the last commented thread is since they all start the same.

Does the forum software support built-in tags? I've seen these on other forums as a way to classify posts. The idea is that they're not part of the title, and they're a mechanism to help searching be better while being less cluttered. They'd be displayed very much like thread-starters and mods are listed, but at the thread level, and beneath the thread title. So, if I were to start a new thread for a particular game, I'd tag that topic with all the relevant platforms. Then clicking on that platform name would come up with the most recent threads tagged with that platform. If that's not possible with this software, then maybe something to look for in the new upcoming software?

Like for instance, let's say I start an 'Assassin's Creed: Unity' thread.

Maybe worth posting that over in this thread so it doesn't get forgotten and can be with the other feedback/requests.

All I can say is this- we've got new forum software lined up for the beginning of the year. Tagging is one if it's features. If we try to install a plugin for this software, it is far more likely than not that those tags would not survive a forum migration.

Ok, so we'll just need to have mods or the OP update the thread afterwards.  Sweet.

ATB, can you change the title on this thread? It messes with my ability to sort through the list of threads. slywink
