Does that "rain" in the banner cause anyone else's CG experience to s.l.o.w. way down? Thankfully, I have Mozilla and Adblock, so buh-bye to that ad. Now my CG is nice and fast.

i've noticed that page scrolling is a little slow/jerky once in a while since that ad started, but it's not a big deal. for whatever difference it may make, i'm using Firefox now...

I haven't had any problems other than my cursor blinks in and out a lot as I type this. I certainly haven't seen any slowdown at all. We do hope you click the ad at least once so we can continue to have game-related ads in the future from different companies.

I haven't had much trouble here but it makes going to any IGN site impossbile...well scrolling through them.
I wasn't sure it was that ad but it is the only consistent thing.

i guess that explains the major slowdowns i've been having lately - whenever i have two CG pages running. i'm also using Firefox, btw. it only happens when i have two going at once though, and then it almost freezes up the machine. as soon as i close one, everything's okay.

I wasn't sure it was that ad but it is the only consistent thing. ever since they started using a larger version on IGN site, i haven't been able to scroll the page normally either (mouse wheel won't work)...have to click and drag the scroll bar for it to move. kinda sucks... |

I've frequently noticed issues with certain Flash ads and Firefox, particularly on Gamespot's site. It was pretty much the sole reason I installed adblock.

Yeah flash and firefox have No Sex together. Plus that splinter cell ad in IGN either crashes the website or makes it impossible for me to surf the site. GG IGN!!

the only other Flash+Firefox issues i've had are a little flickering when pages load, but it goes away once everything is loaded. it's definitely still a little buggy though.
