Found the source of the issue - when the stats engine for the server is running it bogs the site terribly. I'll be changing those stat engines to run at around 1:00am so we'll see if that fixes it for you. Sorry about that. |

Running very slowly again this morning. I've timed out a couple times, and also seen a couple "could not connect to the database" errors.

its strange, because it seems like the top-level, i.e. where you can see all the forums seems to be working pretty well. Its just when you click a topic or a catagory that it freezes completely

Ive been having troubles even getting the site to load. Sometimes it just wont load for over an hour or so. then its slow when it does. Just now was able to log in this morning. It was down all morning for me so I went to town and when I get home its up  |
