It's a bit big for 1024x768. It breaks horizontal scroll. That makes baby Jesus very angry.
It does look cool. Can it be shrunk?

Yes, I just loaded up CG after the gym for the first time today and found my formatting broken-I think its a cool ad, and I am all in favor of Ron getting ad revenue, but can we shrink it Ron? As Warning said, baby Jesus cries for broken page formatting, amongst so many other things.

definitely a little too wide...have to maximize my browswer window at 1280x1024 to eliminate any side-scrolling. not a huge problem, but it's a little annoying.

It shouldn't be a biggie. Take a look at the Quarter to Three boards ( http://www.quartertothree.com/phpBB2/index.php). They use the same forum software but place the banner ad above everything else. Theirs is just as wide as the one we are using. The site logo and FAQ, Search, etc just happen below the ad. No formatting problems, no complaints. |
