When I tried to access CG a few moments ago I got the following:

This Account Has Been Suspended
Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.

I know there were bandwidth concerns, but thought you might want to be made aware (though you probably are).  Seems to be back to normal.

Stiffler,

You have just experienced what has consumed my time for the last week.  I wish I could say it was a bandwidth issue, but its not.  Our current host up and suspended us the other day without warning or notice (awfully nice isn't it?) and that is when we found that we were utilizing too much CPU horsepower.   It seems that our wonderful site is too 'feature-rich' and all those database accesses are bringing the server to the ground.  I convinced the host to give us a little bit more time to try to correct the issue, but you can see they much prefer to just suspend my account when the site gets 'too busy'.  

All that said, we have found a new host that assures us that they can handle us easily (they host Nasdaq, Gateway, Shacknews, Fileshack, etc.) so if it comes down to it we might be moving there rather quickly.  If that does come to pass, I'll be posting in here explaining all of that and what the repercussions will be.  Or as I like to say...more to know as I know it.

Thanks for letting us know what's going on.  Hopefully the switch will be quick and painless and does not stretch the budget too thin.  It's great to see CG grow and the staff stay on top of things.  Best of luck and you have my appreciation for doing what it takes to keep the site running full steam ahead!
