So, we have all kinds of "days" set aside for all kinds of things in western modern society. We've just had "breastday" here in Denmark, to make people aware of breastcancer issues (or thats the excuse for having breastday I guess), and I think we should have that here as well...

An entire day, where everyone had to be nice to their fellow forum goers, and not post crap, personal attacks, inuendoes, flames, baiting, trolling and so forth.

The reason? Simply because I think it would be nice, and I think some people think the universe will implode if they are nice here an entire day, and it would be nice to disprove that particular theory...

Being the nub that I am, I try to treat every day as "Be nice to your fellow forum-goer day", yes, even with CeeKay.  icon_smile

imho the only trouble with having "days" for anything is you're encouraging people to be jerks the other 364 days of the year.  biggrin Better to just encourage people to be a little nicer all the time.

Actually these days I find the commentary threads on various articles at various sites (gaming or otherwise) actually have more personal attacks than message boards per se. I'm so tired of it, I've learned to prefer sites that bury the comments on a separate page so you can just ignore them.  icon_razz

And by all means, every day is breastday!  drool
