When I do a search that has more than one page of results,

I get "Did you forget to put something to search for? " in red letters and no further results upon clicking the next page of results.

Is it a browser issue?

The SMF team is aware of it and there is an upcoming patch to address it.  Irritating, but we are at their mercy on this one.  frown

Any luck with this? I think one of the reasons for 'duplicate' posts even when people search first is because the search is kinda brokey. Can't get past the first page of results, no way to sort the results (date desc would be awesome), no advanced search to limit by poster when known... common things like that would really help. IMHO.  icon_wink

Is search different for different themes/layouts? User is a criteria for the basic search for me.

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

D'oh. For a "basic search" I've been using the search box at the top RHS of the forums and never saw any kind of options for it. After your comment, I poked the SEARCH tab and see I can change the sort order and add a specific user if desired, so need to remember that for the future. Still have the multi-page issue, however.
