Hello everyone...

The board has been restored from a really recent backup.  If you spot any issues, please post them here. One thing I know that apparently didn't make it over are the avatars, so you'll need to re-upload those.

I'd ask in advance that you keep this thread confined to any issues you've spotted with the new board.  Feel free to start up threads dealing with other topics.

Thanks.

The header file got overwritten last night. I've restored the new one, so the logos should all be fixed.

Mail should be working at this point too.

I can't even log in to the forums. Tell it I've lost my pwd and it says that my account is inactive.

Happened after I updated my profile and added an avatar, changed my email.

I assume you tried that after I made the change this morning.  If so, it's possible the host has somehow disabled mass emailing via the PHP functions.  Can you try setting up the SMTP with GT's mail server instead of the one you had in there?

[edit]

I read something in the knowledge base that seems to indicate that there's a 40 person limit on the PHP mailer, so it will be necessary to use a valid SMTP account.

Or would you have to do it in 40-person waves? Or is that essentially the long way of doing it?

There's no way that I know of to tell the board's mass e-mailer to send the email in waves of certain numbers of users.  I'm pretty sure it's an all or nothing deal.
