For anyone still getting it in Firefox, I was having the same problem with another site, and some people suggested doing a profile reset, but I wasn't too pleased at having to do that, so I did some experimenting. I browsed for my Safebrowsing folder:
Local>Mozilla>Firefox>Profiles
via Users>Profilename>Appdata
Deleted the Safebrowsing folder. Closed Firefox and restarted it, and there was a new Safebrowsing folder in there. Not having the problem any longer.

That seems to have fixed it. Thanks Rumpy!

I occasionally get it still on my netbook, but never on my desktop.
I've cleared my cache and cookies, too.

If you are using Firefox, please follow the instructions outlined previously.
I have ramped up our new ad software and we are serving ads once again. Things should be back to normal now.

+1. Rumpy, if you were Kristen Stewart I'd totally let you file a restraining order against me! (it sounds better when you picture my avatar saying it)

Jeepers, that sounds creepy And yeah, I guess it does.... Pr0ner, clearing your cookies and cache won't fix it since that's not what's affected. It's the Safebrowsing folder that needs to be deleted. There's apparently a bug in the latest version where if Safebrowsing gets triggered, it gets corrupted and the warning doesn't go away. That's what they get for throwing releases out so quickly. Everything gets rushed and there's no quality control.

Just FYI - we've not only removed the ad, we nuked the ad solution entirely. The ad provider as well. This is a full nuke from orbit. For those of you who support the site by not running ad blockers (and that is GREATLY appreciated btw) you should see ads for games that you might be actually interested in playing. Thanks for your patience as we got over this painful bump.

I run an ad blocker, but I specifically whitelist the site.
The new ads look pretty slick.

Yeah, the whole malware thing might be a blessing in disguise: we have a much better ad server software now (the one we were using stopped being supported for non paying customers ) and have joined a promising new ad network. Very happy.

Yea, that's likely somebody linking to a site that's infected. :/
