Not following as much of the game press as usual, so I'm just wondering what the crowd around here is looking forward to in the realm of PC Games in 2005.

I personally can only say I'm looking forward to one, and I imagine it'll make a few lists around here...

Brothers in Arms.  Essentially a playable Band of Brothers, you say?  Sign me up.  The most recent trailer is incredible.
"I'm a man with hell standing between me and my men.  No matter.  Not even hell will stop me."

Maybe it's just the melodramatic music, but that jazzes me.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
The Witcher

Of course, there's most likely a bunch of stuff not announced yet that'll knock our socks off.  Because of that, I'm going to add:

All The Unannounced Stuff

None.  Since I"m not buying a single game during the year 2005.  I'll buy 'em all in 2006. smile

Psychonauts ... um, probably something else but that's the only one that sticks out.  Sad.

Can't think of anything actually.

Forza for the xbox but can't think of any PC games i'm dying for.  I'm happy with World of Warcraft and Everquest 2 for 2005.

F.E.A.R. and Brothers in Arms. Both of those games look amazing. Past that I don't know of many I care too much about.

There's one I'm intersted in called simply "Black" that's a shooter for the Xbox and PS2, but there's so few details available that I'd hesitate to consider myself really excited about it.

i'm anxiously awaiting the chance to play KotoR 2 and GTA:SA on the PC...and knowing that they're good already doesn't my patience any.  other than those, there's not a lot i'm really excited about.  Republic Commando could be fun, and STALKER has always had potential, but the anticipation for those is nothing like this year with Doom3, HL2, and VTM:BL.  i'll admit that i'm not really up on all the game releases expected for this year though...

Negus, it's $32.90 for the standard edition at Gogamer right now.  Probably be that way for the next week.  Just a head's up in case that's under your price threshold.

Ooh, that is a good price... but it's for the import version. Is there a difference? Is that online authentication deal gonna give me trouble because it's an import?

Oh man, and Pirates is $30 there...

all of these are ones i'm excited to play:

STALKER (can't wait to see how this is going to turn out)
Serious Sam 2 (it's got to be excellent, right?)
The Movies (not too excited about the concept, but it's a Molyneaux game and that's enough for me)
GTA:SA (these games are always fun)

and i'm watching for reviews on:
Bard's Tale
FEAR

there may be many more good ones next year, but i don't know enough about them yet.
