A few years ago mirage775 was giving away strategy guides, and I snagged the one for Legend of Mana.  Never got to play it.  Maybe I'll give it a try on the PSP.

The first town in Xenogears killed my interest in the game.  Maybe I'll have to give it another try, since it apparently gets better.

It gets so much more epic later on. Don't give up so soon.

Agreed.  I'm about 7 hours in now, and really enjoying it.  Xenogears is never going to win any beauty contests, but the story is pretty awesome, the combat system is very fun, and the soundtrack is absolutely fantastic.  The only real problem I've had is that the combination of a small screen and low-res textures sometimes make it very difficult to see where you're supposed to go.  I've had to rely heavily on FAQs and user-made maps to navigate.

Xenogears is honestly the most epic game I've ever played.  The way the game keeps peeling back layers to reveal what is going on is great.  You'll reach a point where even the most epic JRPGs would stop and call it good but that's only halfway through the game and then Xenogears just keeps on going from there.

Unfortunately, they keep following Nietzche all the way down into his descent into madness.  There is a point where they really should have stopped.

Oh well, the gameplay stays great through the end.

That is indeed unfortunate.

Threads of Fate is due out this Tuesday 4/18.  Also coming out 4/18 is a PSP version of the TurboGrafx 16's Zelda-style action/adventure Neutopia.

Nope.  I can't see Chrono Trigger ever getting a PSN release (since it's available for DS), but not seeing Chrono Cross surprises - and frustrates - me a bit.

It was released in March, not long before the release of The Third Birthday.
