XBOX360 and BestBuy

I usually run by BestBuy on the way to class at DeVry.  I just happened to ask a guy if they would be getting any 360's in and he said oh we have 6 or 7 in the back we dont put them on the shelf and you have to ask for them.  All they had was the core system and I kicked around the idea of buying one but decided against it.  I went on to DeVry and decided to check with BestBuy online if there were any showing in stock, the online ordering system showed none available in all of Georgia.

I find that odd, you have to ask for them, they are not on the shelf and do not show in stock.  I asked if they knew when they might get a premium one in and was told they come direct from MS and they have no idea when or what they will get.

What is funny is that I stopped in EB Games at the mall and these guys are still trying to fill the last 15 pre-orders from last November.

The employees here at Best Buy in San Angelo are terrific, but apparently MS stopped shipping 360s to all best buys, and possibly other stores about a week and half ago, they were storing up for a big shipment after 2 weeks....this was confirmed by multiple managers at my best buy here.

Supposedly this week they'll get a big shipment.

i think its this week that australia finally get their xbox 360 launch........at least you have a choice at the moment to get it or not....australians have been waiting nearly 4 months!!!
