Since the Xbox 360 is around the corner, there will be a need for a solid RPG title. Here are the titles we have seen for the Xbox:

Morrowind
Fable
Jade Empire
Sudeki
KotOR
KotOR 2
Arx Fatalis

In your opinion which of these games is MOST deserving of a sequel on the Xbox 360?  It doesn't necessarily have to be because the first game was great. Instead it could merely be based upon the amount of potential you saw while playing the original title.  Is there an underdog you'd love to see get a second chance, or do the powerhouses deserve the spotlight?

Furthermore, what improvements would you desire to see in the sequel?

Since there were so few - they all should get a sequel!  Here's the list i would want most:

Morrowind ...... going crazy, can't wait;
Arx Fatalis ...... some improvement in environment would be welcome;
Fable .............. make it like we all thought it was going to be;
KOTOR ............ I can handle another one, no big hurry though.

Haven't played other than the Jade Empire demo yet, but I suspect I'd like a sequel to that, especially if the combos were more "action" oriented - press a single button for each swing, not for each combo.  It's not that i love button-mashing, but I feel the wait for the combo to finish takes you out of the action.

I have a Sudeki but haven't played it yet.

Metal Dungeon!

Just kidding, never played it.  Never heard good things about it, either.

Well let's see... KotOr already has KotOr2 and I'm pretty sure we'll see a third.

Morrowind has Oblivion coming up.

Fable 2 had been hinted at.

Jade Empire 2:  probably, but most likely developed by Obsidian slywink

Arx Fatalis : didn't they already announce a sequel using the Source Engine?

Sudeki:  I'm on the fence with this one.  I picked it up used to 9 bucks, but if I had spent full price on it I would have been disappointed.

Now, which is the most deserving?  Right now I'd have to say Morrowind.  It had a great world with alot of openess.    if the Radiant AI system they've been pimping works out as good as it's supposed to I think the series will have reached it's real potential as an immersive RPG.

For me it would definitely be Fable. Although it wasn't what the hype promised, it was still very fun and laid a good foundation with beautiful environments, an interesting game world, and solid combat.  I really enjoyed the game despite its simplicity.

Make it better for the Xbox 360 by:

-turbo-charging the graphics
-take out the ridiculous farting, burping, etc.
-add more interesting NPCs and a larger array of weapns and weapon upgrades.

OK, you shut up. Metal Dungeon was the apex of gaming; it's all downhill from here baby.

::shudder::

Your character moonwalks. The same walking animation is used for forwards and backwards. It's not deliberate; I don't even think the game made it to Alpha stage. They went from Wire-frame right to production.

You really oughta rent it; it's worth the laugh. Just make sure you rent from a place that charges you $1 or less to exchange on the same day. Tongue

I think the question is a bit loaded with the "first game doesn't have to be good" and the game that has the "most potential" statements, but I'd have to say Fable would fit the bill the most.  I wasn't enamored with the game, but I did see the potential that Fable could have had they spanned out the quest to a longer one instead of relying on sidequests as the way to milk more hours out of the game.

Morrowind, but that already has a confirmed sequel coming out for the XBox 360.

I'd like to see a Fable 2, but my expectations are way lower after the grand vision that was layed out for Fable, turned out to be nothing but a smokescreen.
