Xbox Live Question

simple question:

i have an xbox live account, if i migrate that to my xbox 360, will i still be able to connect my regular xbox to live as well? its prob in the booklet but im lazy

i used to be able to have on my modem,both xbox live running and the internet running at the same time....when i got my 360,it was fine...until i went back to the xbox 1...now my modem only lets me do one at a time...and i have to reset my modem every time i want to go on either the internet or 360(i haven't been back on the xbox 1,as star wars battlefront 2 has been made backwards compatible)

it had something to do with the gateway codes(i'm not that up on all this)...and maybe it is just my modem....but its strange how it happened at the same time as going back to xbox1 live

but to cut a long story short(too late)...
