I just read on the Team17 forums that they've renewed talks with Microsoft to bring a 2D version of Worms to it as well. Downloadable content and the works. It might be the only game I will ever need to own for it.

I keep hearing about this new-fangled XBox360, but I don't believe it exists yet. At least I haven't seen one for sale anywhere...

Worms 2? That is cool! I havent played it in quite sometime and I never learned how to be a "roper" so maybe now is my chance.
oops, read that as Worms 2 instead of a 2D Worms. Cool either way.

Street Fighter II? Awesomeness. Now they just need an online version of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. That's one game where I'd have a chance at making the leaderboard.

I really wish they'd lower the prices a little bit on the Arcade stuff. Some of the games on there cost upwards of $10 - you can buy Dark Cloud 2 or Metroid Prime 2 for that much SF2 online will be awesome though!

Awesome news! The "Quarter Match" system will follow up on the Live-lobby efforts of original-Xbox title Dead or Alive Ultimate, staging a spectator mode where interested parties can "use a 'virtual quarter' to 'buy into' heated two player matches," and to check out potential friends and rivals alike. What really has SF aficionados stoked, however, is the free "feature-limited" demo planned for download on Live, which will allow players to try out "two playable characters for one match" -- just the thing to lure 6-button fighting fans back into the fold. (Ken or Ryu vs. Chun-Li, anyone?) That sounds great!

Dang, that is really, really awesome. If I had a 360 it would be instant-purchase.
The Live Arcade may just be the thing that makes me consider a 360...

I mean, I doubt it, but perhaps...one day. MS is going in the right direction, with the Live Arcade, it seems.

Interesting how we're using this super advanced technology to play old arcade games. Great use of horsepower

Some of the games on there cost upwards of $10 - you can buy Dark Cloud 2 or Metroid Prime 2 for that much But it's not real money! It's Live Points (or whatever they're called)!! I love the Arcade... I just wish more stuff was there. The idea of playing a bunch of my old middle school favorites online is just too awesome. gellar
