Whats going on with this? Is it making money? I think the games are too expensive to make it viable... make it 25 cents a game I will check it out... but I believe them to be completely unrealistic.

Considering the price of those 'classic' consoles that Atari, Namco, etc, have all released in recent months, the price for these games are absolutely insane.
Don't even get me started on other PC 'alternatives', either.

I honestly am flumoxed by this whole thing.
At first, I thought this would be a great idea and that they'd be racking up a lot of dinero from me in small bursts, given the typical "free or five dollars" aspect of downloading things on Live. Seriously, I would not have been suprised to find myself out $50 to $100 in no time, saying over and over, "ah, what the hell. It's just $5." Now, unless they come up with some absolutely killer app, forget it.

I also passed due to the prices, and I'm also puzzled as to why you can't just download the main app via Live.

I went ahead and got the disk, just because it came with Ms. Pacman for free. Tried a few of the demos. I'm done with it. It just isn't the same.  |
