Looks like the name of the new console will be Xbox 360, according to engadget . Not sure how I feel about that. I get not going with XBox2 so it doesn't seem less than PS3 (insults our inteligence a little, but I get it), but 360 seems fairly meaningless a term. Although it is a revolution. Curious, isn't it? |

I always thought the CNN show "Anderson Cooper 360°" sounded horribly forced. I groan just thinking about walking into EB and hearing "have you pre-ordered the Xbox Three-Sixty yet? It's gonna be rad!"
Just call it Xbox 5. Bang, 2 better than the PS3!

I honestly think that they felt XBox Next was too difficult to say. How many times have I been in my local EB when one of the employees has to answer the phone with some quick and mindless schpeel like "Good morning, EB, home of the MadCatz month of crazy controllers!!!!!"
Can you imagine having to say (quickly)
"EB, where this month you can save 3% on all games for the XBox Nest ... er, XBlocks Next ..., er, XBoxed Neyts ...
