If you deduct the puzzle games/card games(too hard to read on my tv). There is a large selection and many of the trial versions are way too short to give an accurate view, especially the ATARI games. What XBLA games are popular with the multiplayer crowds here? Btw. I know about the IGN/Gamespot/GR lists but they do not necessarily agree with the OO/GT crowds .

The text in Uno is pretty large enough to read. I also like Age of Booty.

- Puzzle Quest (if you missed it on the other platforms) - Carcassone and Settlers of Cataan are both excellent - Rez HD is an absolute must - Penny Arcade Adventures is pretty fun, but expensive for how long it is

The Atari games on XBLA suck. Get the Atari Anthology for the Xbox 1 if you gotta play those.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Castle Crashers Carcassonne (which doesn't require a whole lot of reading)

Uno is the single most played MP XBLA game for me. I still go back to it.

Some nice lists there thanks. Castle Crashers seems to be the most raved about game at the moment. First time I saw it I thought it looked very basic but it seems the game play is quite deep. Seems my ifrst impressions were wrong on this one. Trying it a second time. The Pinball game was good but still not quite up there with Pinball Dreams in my book. Maybe DICE could be convinced .

Braid remains one of the most compelling games I have ever played on any platform. Beautiful.

A Kingdom For Keflings is a lot of fun. It's a city builder type of game, only with an avatar to directly control the building. If you're interested in the old Sega games, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is coming out February 10, and will contain 40+ of them for $30.

i actually loved Mad Tracks both online and off I would recommend GripShift over Mad Tracks, personally. I spent a lot of time with that game.

I've purchased so many XBLA titles. Off the top of my head I would recommend Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars 2, Worms, Pinball FX, Bomberman, and Puzzle Quest.

I own a number XBLA games w/mplay, but there really isn't a single one I'd classify as a AAA quality 'must have'. Bionic Commando Rearmed would probably come the closest, but I think that's only co-op mplay. Other games I've enjoyed that have mplay:
Aces of the Galaxy Small Arms Carcasonne Castle Crashers Assault Heroes
