I'm about halfway through the game and I am *constantly* reloading.  It's awful.  I've played Dungeon Siege, Icewind Dale, KOTOR, etc. and found them grossly eaiser than this.

If you want frustation, X-Men Legends is for you! LOL!

I've actually found it to easy as you get halfway.  Once you get the powers to a decent level, you are unstoppable.   Are you using the combos all the time? What characters are you using?  So far, I've found Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine and Nightcrawler to be unstoppable.  Swap Iceman for Nightcrawler for some missions (create ice bridges) and you are set.

I think Cyclops and/or Storm are critical because of the extra experience you get (leadership).  Storm's chain lightning is incredible, as well as Cyclops adding tactics when needed.  Nightcrawlers Teleport Fury combined with the lightning from Storm clears rooms.

That said, I've found the wrong mix of teams to suck, or even the wrong characters.  Some just don't work well.

That is who is in my team.

I'm just about to the place in life where if it is an RPG and doesn't come come from Bioware, it's not worth having.

I *enjoy* Bioware games.  I spend little time reloading and lots of time enjoying.  Great stories.  Great gameplay.

Well, both Storm and Nightcrawler can be pretty weak if you don't boost them up right (or let the AI take control of them anyway). My team was Wolverine, Cyclops, Iceman, and Jean Grey. The only place I ever had problems was in the very last level. That combo covers all the basics and all the resistances.

Short of that, it was a piece of cake.

Once you max both Storm and Cyclop's leadership, start doing combos between them.  By the end of the game, you can easily be doing 1000s of points of damage with one hit.

The encouragement is appreciated.  Really.  I'm done though.  I'd have to reload a million times already.  Enough.

Halo 2 is out next month and KOTOR2 is out in December.  I have bigger fish to dry. ;-)

Thanks for posting though!

Weird, my problem with Legends was that it very quickly became way too easy... Any team with Storm and Cyclops in it becomes unstoppable once you start leveling them.  I had to stop using Storm because the game lost its fun when all you have to do is stand there and cast Chain Lightning to kill everything on the screen without your other party members even getting a chance to do anything.

The game seemed pretty easy with most of the characters though.

Ditto, I'm finding it fairly easy.

I beat it 3 times and went through part of the way a 4th time with different teams each time.

I thought the game was too easy really. I think I had a character die on me maybe 4 or 5 times total?

And one of those was because I flew into his back and pushed him off a ledge.

Are you doing the danger room missions?  It makes a huge difference.

I found the game incredibly hard.

My brother-in-law would constantly "help out" by throwing exploding barrels at whichever target I was in melee combat with. retard

I am another that found it kinda easy

I always used Wolverine, Storm, Magma and Collossus (leading with Wolverine)

New badie pops on the screen, hold left trigger, wait a split sec, dive in with legend slash (or whatever it is called)... COMBO.. MEGA DAMAGE.... Baddie Dead.
