Ok question.  I bumped my x box live account to a family account so my son now has his own login.  How does this work with thigns purchased with MS points?  For instance i have map packs for games and music for rock band, can he access them?  Or do they have to be purchased under each "account"; I really hope not.

He cannot access some COD World at War maps but I am wondering if its the maturity rating of the game etc.

The way I understand it is anyone can use them on the machine they were purhcased on, but only the purchaser can use them anywhere ( i.e. another 360 )

You might need to redownload the licenses if you had your 360 repaired or swapped out.

go to xbox.com/drm or http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Support/LicenseMigration/Home

This.

DLC is licensed to the Xbox 360 that downloaded it, and to the gamertag that bought it.  You can re-license it to the 360 by re-downloading it through your download history.

If the content is licensed on the xbox it's running on (which happens at download) any profile on the that xbox can use it.
