With all the games of TGS, I realized that there are a ton of RPGs coming out this year and next -

to which i'll only add: anyone into rpgs who hasn't checked out radiata stories yet is doing themselves a grave disservice - you will have fun smile ...

The first thing that popped into my mind when I looked at the list was that I'm not going to need a next-gen console for a long, long time. Not that that'll stop me from buying one, but still, there's a lotta life left in this generation.

I'm excited for a great majority of these games.  I won't need to buy a next-gen system - I'll just be playing all of the current gen's RPGs!

That list points out to me (again) that I bought the wrong console as an rpg fan.  I figured I'd be set with an xbox and my PC for rpgs, but man, they've cranked out a ton of good rpgs for the ps2 in the past few years.

Heheh, its funny that when you bought the console you didn't realize this-the PS2 has been clearly superior for RPGs from Day 1-if only because you get that immediate backlog of PS1 games. Plus, uh FFX for teh win?!!11
