As Dafones noted, it was also announced for PC release on the same day.

I'll have forgotten about it over a half year from now. Too many other games (hopefully one of them being Team Fortress 20 will have come out by then to warrant a purchase for a game that's been out so long.

3 actually: PS2, Xbox and PC.

I still need to finish Vice City.  I loved, LOVED GTA3 and have had a hard time getting into VC so far.

I had the same problem...something about the layout of Vice City just didn't work for me as well as GTA3.

Guess I'm not the only one.  I loved GTA3 but felt there was something missing in GTA:VC and even GTA:SA (in the brief few minute I've played it) that I couldn't pin-point.

I don't know what any of you could possibly not bet "getting" about Vice City.  GTA3 pales in comparrison to VC in every way.  The storyline, the ability to buy businesses and get missions, the bikes, the character of Tommy... it all blows GTA3 away.

And if you play it for PC or Xbox, they have these neat things on the characters... fingers, I think I've heard them called. slywink

I held off on playing GTA:SA until I could play it on XB or PC; I'm not sure I'm goingto buy it or just rent it and see how it plays. I tried the biking thing right at the beginning; it works well enough I think.

I played GTA 3 over the course of about 6 months.  I loved it.  I loved the mafia/mobster theme.  It was very cool.

Vice City looks good, actually looks much better on my PC than GTA3 ever did.  I just kinda burned myself out on GTA3 and a lot of the gameplay is MOTS.  I'm sure I'll get back into it but it didn't grab me immediately like GTA3 did.  If Vice City had come out first it would have been the one I played to death.
