File this under "I hope they release it in the US but realize they probably won't."

I'd love to play me some Wiz on the go.

Wizardry as a franchise is far more popular in Japan than in the USA (unfortunately, IMO).

Really? Thats shocking to me. I always thought Wizardry was an old-school American hardcore style RPG.

I still remember playing a bit of Wizardry VII: Crusaders of the Dark Savant way back in the day.  Wow that was a looooong time ago!  And I really didn't know what the heck was going on either.

But it would be neat to have a Wizardry game for the DS!

That would be great if they brought that to the US.  I'd definitely buy it, barring any major screw ups.

Dude...I remember playing Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord...a LOT.
Go look it up young'un slywink

The dual screen ought to work really well for a wizardry style game.

For some reason, it just seemed to have really resonated with the Japanese market, definitely moreso than here.  Heck, I think Bards Tale (the original one) sold far better than the first three Wizardrys combined, and it was a pretty shameless ripoff in many ways.  Or homage, as I like to think of it, being a BT fan   Tongue
