Wing Commander's bar done in Lego

This is Shotglass's bar on the ship from WC1 done in all Lego. Looks pretty cool.

How do people come up with this stuff. I was lucky to put 9 bricks together and make something. And that was with instructions.

Agreed, instead of abusing the license and releasing crap on XBLA.

On the flip side, I know they released a DVD holding the first three Wing Commander games back in the Windows 95 era. Makes me wonder if it would still work on current PCs...

I found my WC: Prophecy 4 disk set last night while boxing up my old games.  Good times!!

I loved WC: Prophecy.   Played all the way through that and the Secret Missions multiple times.

I still have my disks but doubt they would work in Vista.

I still have Privateer as well.  My favorite game of all time.  I really wish somebody would do a decent remake of this.

Privateer was so deep that I couldn't put in the level of detail needed to keep up with the notes required to make any decent money.  Man, those were the good old days when you had to work to get the info you needed to succeed rather than having GameFAQs just hand it to you.

I miss those games. I have an urge to install Privateer 2. Then I remember why I never finished it new (unlimited enemies and not being able to jump out of system) and I pass on it again.

 I miss those days.  I remember having a notebook for maps of games I didn't have hint books for.  now it's just so much easier to do gamefaqs or google search.

I remember in the very early 90's going into a Software Etc and writing stuff down from the hint book to Zelda: A Link to the Past. Don't recall what problem I was having but the guy caught me and asked me to stop

Whoa, I remembered some of those hint books come with red plastics that you have to use to read the pages. I think they were Sierra On Line hint books.

turns out the only thing I found was things about HD movies for the game.

WC4 is actually on PSN, I've nearly bought it just for ease of use and not knowing how the games would play on my PC now.
