Not too much info yet, but they have announced Forza Motorsport 6 for Xbox One.  I'm sure you're all shocked.  slywink

They have also announced it with a partnership with Ford, and the new Ford GT will be on the cover (announcement video with the car here).

I'm sure FMS5 was a great game, but without access to an affordable wheel I played it all of 2 times I think.  Might pass on this one if they still have no decent wheel

I'll pass. While I put enough time in both Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 2 to get my money's worth, I don't have the same level of fun with them as I do with say, an open world game that features some driving. That's not a knock against the games themselves, just that the older I get the more boring I find just plain racing.

Maybe I'm a virtual reality fanboy, but by the time Forza 6 hits I think VR offerings will either be released or close to release, and even the 2d sims with the best graphics ever are going to look quaint and old fashioned compared to VR equivalents.

I want another Rallisport Challenge, not another Forza Motorsport.

One a year? Seriously, Turn 10 needs to put more time into making a game that steps things up significantly. It's not like there is another racing game (on the MSFT platform) that even comes close.

It's been 2 years since Forza 5, or will be assuming they ship this fall/holiday.  Horizon 2 was made by Playground Games in the UK, not Turn 10 (though I'm sure there was some assistance, etc).

I'm fine with having the two franchises alternate every couple years, they are different enough that having one racing game a year isn't that big of a deal.

That's not to say I'm as excited about a Forza 6 as I might be a new Rallisport Challenge, but that's a whole different matter.  slywink

Actually, Turn 10 had a much bigger role in Forza Horizon 2, according to someone I spoke with at E3 last year.

Senior Producer at Turn-10, as it turns out (just looked him up).
