From your list I would definately be playing Kingdom Hearts, Beyond Good and Evil, Ninja Gaiden and I personally loved Otogi. I am sure I am in the minority but Final Fantasy X just didn't do anything for me, felt more like watching a movie than playing a game.

Kung Fu Chaos was fun... play it to unlock the multiplayer levels... this game is a fun party game. uh, Ninja Gaiden, Otogi. I really liked Oddworld as a platformer... I dunno. PoP ? good luck deciding, buddy. You've got your work cut out for you.

Beyond Good & Evil is not a long game. It's also a great game. I'd start there, knock that one off the list then move on with some wind in your sails.
Either that or buy a Gamecube.

If you ever plan to play Buffy The Vampire Slayer, do so before you try Ninja Gaiden. After Ninja Gaiden, your expectations will be set so high that all other action games will pale by comparison.
Also, you *owe* it to yourself to play Katamari Damacy!

That is why I'm not buying any games in 2005 other than the 3 I've already decided on (Getting X-Box fixed, FFTA for GBA, and the Totalgaming.net package).

Um.. I don't understand how you people do this. When I get a game it's opened and in it's particular game system within hours of me reaching my house.
I only just recently set my personal record for longest time waited before opening a game I bought, which was only two days.
Seriously. I don't get how you can buy something and then just let it sit there, taunting you.

Definately start with Beyond Good and Evil, then proceed immediately to Katamari Damacy. Two amazing games right there.

Um.. I don't understand how you people do this. When I get a game it's opened and in it's particular game system within hours of me reaching my house. 95% of the games I buy, I buy used, and generally during a Gamestop buy 2 get 1 free sales. The new games I buy are either games I must have and play now or during the Toys'R'Us buy 2 get 1 free sales. Generally, when I game hits $25 or less used and there is a b2g1 sale if I've given it a thought before I'll pick it up. 3 games for $30-$50 (8% sales tax about offsets the 10% gamestop discount card) is irresistable to me... now if I could just get time to play them. I also have about a dozen PC games I've yet to play... it's the damn gogamer shipping deal. If I'm going to buy 1 PC game, I find 2 more I want and they get added to the backlog. .. right behind all the console games hehe.

What happens with me is that I'll see a good deal on something and pick it up even though I'm not ready to play it yet. It leaves me with a lot of trade-in credit and the cycle continues!

Coop;
Ninja Gaiden. It's a disservice to own the 'box and not give Gaiden some playing time. I made the mistake of not playing NG for about six months or so because of the buzz about the difficulty. Although it's hard, the fun level is very high as well.

Cool, someone has a longer list than I do. Though if we added PC games, mine would be about the same length.
Crack open Katamari Damacy. It's the best game of 2004.

Only 42 unplayed games in your collection? Amateur! Seriously. I don't get how you can buy something and then just let it sit there, taunting you. In my case, the vast majority of my unplayed games come from clearance sales, bargain bins, etc. - impulse buys of games I'm at least mildly interested in that I find dirt-cheap. [Apparently appealing to both my fickle I'll-try-anything-for-10-minutes gamer side and my bargain-hunting instincts.] Unfortunately, these days I seem to have more petty cash than free time - or common sense :? - so they sit on my shelves untouched. So the good news is most of the unopened games I have sitting around were dirt-cheap. The bad news is that if you buy enough cheap games, sooner or later it adds up to real money; and a $5 game you never play isn't really a bargain - it just means you wasted half as much money as on that $10 game you never play. Now if you'll excuse me, I hear EBX is having a clearance sale on video games I need to check out...

I have changed in the past couple years because of how little time I have to game, and I have not bought at least 80% of the games I'd like to play. I may buy 2-3 a year now. Now I'm depressed.... My dream vacation would be a week at home ALONE to get in some serious gaming!! Make that two weeks...

I'm too lazy to re-learn PHP and write one. :p I learned PHP while writing this and it's gone through a few generations, so I wouldn't use it as a learning tool, but it works. <html> <head> <title>Coop's Game List</title> </head> <body> <h1>Under Construction</h1> <p>Oooh a filterable list of console games, how exciting!</p>

Also, there are no "must have" GC games for me. The only Nintendo exclusive I really miss is bomberman and that's not enough reason to get a GC. There are a number of games I would have to buy if I had a compelling reason to buy a GC, but there just isn't that ONE game, like GTA:SA for the PS2 or the pile of great racing games for the XBox.

I played through the tutorial section of Beyond Good & Evil, just long enough to get to where I could save the game. I like the graphical style.. the combat is a lot of hack and slash it seems, and taking pictures... uh, we'll see. I played the first few levels of Katamari Damacy as well, seriously psycho game, but oddly enjoyable as well. Still getting used to the controls on that one.. seems like something my wife could play tho.

I'm too lazy to re-learn PHP and write one. :p If you're interested I've made it 10x more complicated, including user registration/authentication, web based data entry and updating. Now that all the tools are in place I'm going to be updating the interface to be useful for multiple users.

Coop; Noticed you had added to the thread, so I thought I would too A while back: Coop: you need to buy a Gamecube so you can add some really awesome titles that are exclusive to it to your list of titles you haven't played  My wife has only allocated a small space in the entertainment center for consoles and with the xbox in there I have precious little room for another console, even one as small as the cube. There are a number of games I would have to buy if I had a compelling reason to buy a GC, but there just isn't that ONE game, like GTA:SA for the PS2 or the pile of great racing games for the XBox. Resident Evil 4 very well could be that game. I'd say that it, along with Metroid Prime, makes the cube a great investment. Re4 is that great. Also, I've never been a fan of the series, but I've had a great time with it. I'd have to say that Ninja Gaiden was the last game that impressed me as much as RE4. It seem the 'cube is cursed in this. There are no mediocre games on it. Only A-list, and crap. IMO. (But mostly A-list)
