I signed up for GF on 4/24/06 and my first game King Kong 360 (easy 1000 points) Did not show up with in the 4-5 days. So I filled a claim, next copy was shipped on 05/08/06 arrival time came and went. Filled another claim, next game is said to have been shipped on 5/22/06 What are the chances of this one actually arriving at my house?
MY LETTER
Iam very disappointed to have signed up for a discounted first month promotion to try out game-fly. Only to have the month to be just about finish and I have yet to receive a game I have checked and double check my information for proper address and to no avail. This would be the second copy said to have been shipped that I have yet to receive.
I have had Netflix's for about six months with know problem what so ever so I find it hard to believe my post office is ripping me off. I have however filled a claim with the postal service. All Iam requesting is my games be shipped pleased. I also don't feel it is right Iam being charged for a month in which I have not received any game what so ever.
THEIR RESPONSE
Thank you for contacting GameFly. Our apologies that Peter Jackson's King Kong never arrived to you. We will report a shipping problem and have a replacement copy of the game sent to you. If that game is not currently available, we will send you the next available game in your GameQ.
In reviewing your account, you have a number of reported shipping problems indicating that the postal route may be experiencing difficulties. We want to provide you with the highest level of service possible and require a secure postal route to deliver. If another game is reported lost, we will need to review your account to determine if we can continue service to you.
We are working with the US Postal Service to address these type of issues but encourage our customers to also report problems to the US Postal Service which may help to pursue other solutions to the problem. You can reach the US Postal Service by dialing 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) or you may download and fill out Form 1510 from the USPS website (
www.usps.gov) and submit it to your postmaster. The form is located within the Frequently Asked Questions, Claims Domestic Mail section or thru the following link:
