I recently acquired System Shock 2 (I believe it was Gamersgate, not GOG) and I was excited to revisit the game.

Now, though, I've run into a problem where I can't save the game. I can go to the Save menu. I can choose a save slot. I can type in a save game name. I can see it flash green when I press Enter. I can then see it on the list of save games.

However, when I choose the Load menu, there are no save files on the list to choose from. The save game I created in the Save menu is not there.

Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone know of a fix?

I don't have time right now to search it, but check the GOG forums, they may have a fix there.

Thanks for the link CeeKay.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything there that sounded like my issue. Maybe I'm the only one having trouble with this. I feel special. smile

Maybe this will help? Seems like it needs a folder called "Current" and the game doesn't create it for some reason.

Thanks Rumpy!

That sounds promising. I'll try it out when I get home tonight.
